Harmony Healing Center provides therapeutic services to individuals diagnosed with substance use and co-occurring disorders at the Partial Care, IOP, and OP levels of care. The team has two different treatment tracks, one focusing on mental health and wellness and one focusing on SUD recovery. This facility emphasizes experiential learning in group therapy sessions, using role-playing and interactive interventions to prompt engagement and participation. Our team of counselors is LPCs and LADACs, with experience in substance use disorders. The Medical Director, Dr. Shore, has 42 years of experience as a psychiatrist and his specialization in Addiction Medicine.
Through family, individual, and group therapy, the team approaches each case uniquely, tailoring the evidence-based interventions and treatment plan to best match the client. The holistic programming covers all the realms of wellness and addition recovery including, but not limited to, addiction recovery and relapse prevention, 12-steps education, neurobiology of addiction, recovery for co-occurring diagnosis, mental health education, emotional regulation skills building, social skills building, family systems and healthy relationships, vocational skills, trauma education and coping skills, nutrition, and aftercare planning. Therapeutic techniques will include CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, REBT, MI, Mindfulness based interventions, and psychoeducation.
